Black Witchery: "Upheaval of Satanic Might" Gatefold lp
2016 Pressing on Darkness Attack Records
Gatefold jacket with UV Gloss varnish. - A2 poster included in all copies. Black Vinyl
Black Witchery's longstanding cloven hoofprint in the underground is as ominous as it is unmistakable. The band's debut album, “Desecration of the Holy Kingdom,” is widely considered to be one of the most stoic pillars in the unholy temple of bestial black metal history. Their 2005 follow-up, “Upheaval of Satanic Might,” solidified the band’s prominence in the subgenre and continues to stand out as their harshest full-length recording- It ravages the listeners' senses from start to finish without mercy with an all out attack of black/ death vengeance and features two death prayers written by R. Förster of BLASPHEMY and CONQUEROR infamy...Although “Upheaval…” has been recently repressed by Osmose Productions, this most recent vinyl edition was not satisfactory to the band , nor sufficiently circulated in North America in particular. As a result, Darkness Attack/Black Witchery obtained a license from Osmose to release another LP version (this time with proper black vinyl, gatefold jacket, and A2 poster and improved layout with additional pictures) with the goal of improved distribution in North America and beyond, thus ensuring a more widespread proliferation of their blasphemies against Christ and his minions.
